Lizzy is a prolific artist holding a BFA form NY’s School of Visual Arts. She excels in multiple media including illustration, painting and product development. As a team player she has gift for interpreting conceptual ideas and translating them into a visual story. She resides outside of New York City.
It all started when I was a baby . . .
I started to draw when I was 2 or 3, at least that’s what my parents told me. My nursery school teachers kept my art, saying “one day….”
Today I am the lead cartoonist/illustrator for DITMARS, an adult animated series spoofing pop culture and society’s norms. The director and writers have a concept, and my drawings bring their visions to life.
My contribution to humanity is with The Huggable Horribles: Embrace Your Inner Monster. I created art pieces that are large stuffed monsters, each with an illustrated story to combat the stigma of mental illness. It’s a movement whose time has come.
My work has been shown in local shows and has been collected across the country. In my formative years awards included a nationwide AAA poster contest, The Edward Hopper House Award and being voted Most Artistic in High School.My pit bull, Pickles, and my cats, Tewie and Tobias, are huge fans—well at least I hope so—as my art keeps them in kibble.
